We are getting ready to line the internal wall surfaces with 6mm Villaboard cement sheeting.
There is still a bit of preparation to do, but the first step was to install some of the missing bracing tighteners.
These are nifty little screw devices that clamp over the bracing straps and pull them in to a state of high tension.
When the steel frames were first built, these were quite floppy and in some cases, not in quite the right location.
Kaj made short work of all this - he released all the intermediate screws, installed the tighteners and rescrewed the straps in their new positions.
Now those stud frame panels are really tight and rigid.
